Jed Rose is the General Manager of EMEA for Airwallex, a fintech startup that is revolutionizing the way businesses operate globally. Airwallex’s financial infrastructure provides a modern technology stack for businesses of all sizes to grow without borders and without the challenges of the current global financial system. Airwallex is a fintech unicorn backed by VC investors including Sequoia, DST Global, Mastercard, and Salesforce Ventures. He also serves as Venture Partner for Antler Venture Capital, which enables founders and invests in the top 1% of more than 50,000 entrepreneurs and ideas evaluated every year. 

Prior to Airwallex and Antler, for three years, Jed led as CEO of Paymentsense, a London-based hi-tech startup that empowers businesses with industry leading card payment and merchant services. Prior to that, Jed served as CRO/COO for two years and delivered significant value-add services for merchants across the UK/ROI while also leading efforts to fully digitise the sales process. During this time, Paymentsense was listed on the Tech Track 100 (2015, 2016, 2017, 2018), featured as #1 on the Profit Track 100 (2016), and acquired.

Prior to Paymentsense, Jed had several senior positions at Microsoft. He served as the business owner for several significant initiatives for Windows product management, this included: the Microsoft Student Innovation Suite, Windows Multipoint (now known as Microsoft Multipoint), the Education PC, and the Featured Communities Program (now known as Windows Insider). All of these initiatives scaled-up worldwide and generated significant business impact through product improvements and revenue growth.

Jed is also a seed-stage investor with high-growth tech startups. Past investments in his portfolio include startups such as Crowdcube and Vamstar.

Jed holds a B.S. in Symbolic Systems with Honors from Stanford University and an MBA from Cambridge University.
